Olga Elmanova

Olga joined Legate in 2018 after spending two years at a local personal injury firm in London, Ontario where she gained in-depth experience in personal injury law.


Originally from Toronto, Olga graduated Summa Cum Laude from York University in 2009. She spent four years working for Toronto Employment and Social Services before she moved to London and obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Western Ontario in 2016. During law school, Olga was a supervisor at a Community Legal Services, coordinator of the clinic’s Eviction Prevention Project, and a school year coordinator for Pro Bono Students of Canada. For this work, Olga received the Stanley C. Tessis award, given to a student who demonstrates outstanding advocacy skills in a broad range of court appearances.
Olga has represented clients at the Superior Court of Justice, the Divisional Court, the Small Claims Court, The Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Licence Appeal Tribunal, the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board and the Landlord and Tenant Board.

Personal Injury Expertise

Olga’s practice focuses on representing people injured in car accidents, slip and falls and other accidents. She is actively involved in short-term and long term disability claims, accident benefits claims and other insurance disputes.
Together with the highly knowledgeable and experienced team at Legate, Olga is actively involved in medical negligence and catastrophic injury files, including birth injuries, delayed diagnosis, wrongful death and multifaceted negligence claims.
